General Description

Introduced in 1958, shortly after the first man-made satellites began orbiting the earth, the Predicta's futuristic design suggested broadcasting would continue to evolve through the technology of tomorrow. With Texas Instruments' new integrated circuit, invented in the same year, the foundation was established for the rise of the personal computer and Internet during the 1980s, ultimately allowing performances around the world to be easily recorded, distributed, and experienced almost instantaneously.
