- In his 1976 report, Junius B. Bird, curator emeritus of South American archaeology at the American Museum of Natural History, notes: "***R17 Form of parrot or macaw, red and cream slip. Tapered spout, bridge handle, slightly later in time than P33 (1976.w.???). Some surface restoration and possibly repair of tail."
