General Description

While the origin of this table is unknown, it was possibly made during China's Qing Dynasty (1644-1912) under the reign of Emperor Kangxi (1661-1722). The image of a dragon is depicted on the top center of the table. In the recreation of La Pausa's Salon at the Dallas Museum of Art, this table is situated on the left side of the room. Tables at La Pausa provided surfaces for the display of the Reveses' large collection of porcelain, metalwork, small sculpture, glass, and silver.
