General Description
After the First World War, Daum Freres & Cie began producing cameo vases in crystal or single-colored glass etched with stylized designs of animals, repeating floral patterns, and sunbursts or swirls. This new range of glass was displayed at the 1925 International Exposition of Modern Decorative and Industrial Art in Paris and typified the modern style later known as art deco.
