Notice that this work is constructed of dry, chalky oil paint on cardboard. What do you think this says about the artist and his intentions for this work?
Can you think of any groups of people in the United States today or in the past who could be compared to the people of Brittany, having a unique religion and way of life, and dressing in special clothing?
